While it is true that in 2011 some blues came in to PetCo most have now turned green....The Red Iguanas are red in most cases due to diet manipulation and in less than 12 months become normal looking Green Iguanas also..I believe that the cheap blues sold by PetCo were the same....The only TRUE axanthic or blue iguanas I know of that have been proven are here..It is a simple recessive morph similar to an albino.....thanks
