When these blue green iguanas were first appearing at Petco, I was skeptical like everyone else, so I contacted people at the corporate office and they confirmed that they have seen the adults and they are BLUE. Since then, I have acquired 4 from different states (2 from Illinois, 1 each from California and Texas) and I am convinced these are real, genetic axanthic green iguanas. Like Susan said, no food in the world can turn a green iguana to look like these as long as we had them (more than 6 months.) If anyone can prove to us that any of these Petco blue iguanas turned green, please provide unquestionable proof!
