In my limited experience, NO...grainy spicules on the eggs are a favorable sign, and smooth that turns yellowish often equates with infertile. I would do the same as you, when in doubt, incubate. If infertile, they often go "bad" witin 8 days or so... Good luck ,and as you say, be grateful and relieved if she expelled all her eggs and you don't have to deal with a veterinary emergency as others have. That is a relatively small clutch of eggs...I wish you bigger, better and more granualted/spicule eggs next time around. Vic
