So i know a new law has been passed but i havent been following the information too closely. I noticed in the burm classifieds there are only 7 ads which is when i remembered about the law. So what i want to know is, is it illegal to purchase burms at all now, or just having them shipped to you? I live in ny as well. I know in nj they sell burms at some of the exotic breeders/pet stores near me. So how can i LEGALLY obtain a new burm? If i purchased one in nj would it be illegal to bring it home across the nj/ny border? Im interested in purchasing a new burm so any help you can give me with information of how or even if i can legally obtain this species since the law passed would be greatly appreciated.
