I am really disgusted by all the new restrictions on herps in California to go in effect this year. Here is what they are restricting from collecting.

No mountain kingsnakes (Lampropeltis zonata) may be taken in Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura Counties.

There's a lot of other silly things added too like glossys, coachwhips, Red Rattlesnakes, patchnose, ringnecks, Western Spadefoot toads and on and on.

I am really appreciating the value of my zonata collection this morning!
