I asked about sexing a King snake here and did not get much helpful info. "probe it" I assume in the anus, but with what? my finger? Is the snake supposed to moan or bite me if it's a female? What am I looking for?
I found a dead on a couple days ago on the highway, so I dissected it to see if I could tell the sex; There wasn't much that I could see but a white tear drop shaped thing about an inch long that had a couple little hard lumps on the narrow/forward end.
Somebody please give me a clue.
