Actually it is enough of a problem that the sale and possession in some states is illegal. I'm not sure about Tenn., but I would not be surprised if it was. While they like it warm and moist, they will survive in low temps. Southern states that don't get cold enough to kill the hissers could have a population explosion of what is considered an invasive, non-indigenous species.
