Any kind of regular aquarium filter of the appropriate size that is not too powerful can be uses for African dwarfs. I use a Tetra Whisper 10i.
The best food is sinking shrimp pellets as the majority of their diet. Daphnia, shrimp/krill, small fish, and bloodworms can also be fed as a lesser proportion of the diet. Bloodworms should only be fed sparingly.
They should be fed about every day.
