I was checking on my goats today and saw something unexpected. There wan an anole running on a tree in the goat pen. I live in NC and it was about 55 degrees today. It was below freezing the last few nights and yesterdays high was in the low to mid 40s. I had no idea that one would be out in January.

It was dark and not bright green like I see in the summer. Sorry, I didn't have my camera with me to take its picture.
