Hey all! I just hatched out two new baby tokays, both very lively, spunky, and healthy. Two quick questions for anyone who's hatched out tokays before. One, can I keep the babies together, and if so, for how long? Two, how long until I should offer food? Thanks,

The babies will do fine together for quite a while. They will also do good growing up in the adults tank(parents) if you have them. babiy tokays will begin eating the day they hatch. They start out very agressive. good luck with them.

Seriously? The babies do well with the adults? I read somewhere that the adults often eat the babies.

I incubate and let baby Tokays hatch out with the adults and leave them there till 6-9 months of age or I sell them. Tokays will actually guard over and be protective of their eggs and young. I've never had any babies eaten by adult Tokays. I wouldn't put babies in with any adults though, and if they were not hatched in the adult tank I would be worry of putting them in there. Its pretty interesting watching large adults and very small hatchlings interact together.

Just awesome, I have never kep them, although I admire their (strong personalities, heheheh ) Just popped in to say how cool it is you got a couple youngsters
