I hate to break it to you.... but they are not mating. if they were the males tail would be curled underneath the males and he would have a much better grip on her.
This is not the time they would be mating either. This is the end of the breeding season.
Fall and winter.

I wasn't hoping for any eggs because like you mentioned the end of the season and also because I didn't think they ''did something''. But his position was ... Thanks,

Maybe it wasn't that time but 3 weeks later I've got a perfect egg this morning !!!
Yesterday she laid one but the egg wasn't good. I was amazed to see one in mint condition. I'll keep you posted on the little one.
