Russian tort has blood in poop

naenaechan Feb 17, 2007 06:50 PM

This is a recent problem. I have had her for about three weeks and she has had runny poop from being fed too many wet greens. I have been letting her eat timothy hay to get rid of her runny-ness. It helped but just today, six days after letting her eat the timothy hay, she has pooped two times and each time there has been a little blood around it.

I cant get her to the vet until monday or tuesday, so I would like to know what this is. I hope she's doing ok because my other female just got over a vitamin A defficiency and dehydration!* Its been a joy having them but theres been a lot of problems with them also.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

(*PS- these are problems that they have come with... So I'm not stupid and I am taking care of them the way every site tells me to......)
