I've got a White's Tree Frog and I'm looking to purchase another frog that can co-exist with it. I'm not interested in another White's as I'm looking for some variation.

how big is your enclousure
Around 10-15 gallons, but I'm willing to upgrade my enclosure.
I would recommend an upgrade
you should get a least a 25 gallon tall to house two frogs the size of a wtf.
are you specifically looking to buying a TREE frog?
Not necessarily, I just wanted something compatible, not exclusive to tree frogs.
my wtf co-exsists qite well with a red eyed tree frog although i do not know if this is characteristic to all whites.
Also-i dont know for sure- but a pac man frog or tomatoe frog would probably do alright with a whites, required you have a bit of free groud space for them to hide in the vivarium.
just dont get anything smaller than the frogs mouth.
I wouldn't trust a pacman in the same cage as my WTF.
it is good to be safe.
a similar speices that i trust would also be compatible is the cuban tree frog.
just an idea.
its surprising that so many people would condone mixing different species of frogs together.
White's should NOT be housed with anything other then its own kind. they are EATING MACHINES! which means, that they can and will eat another frog, no matter the size.. then, instead of having two frogs, you would have none.
red eyes and whites have different care requirements, so i cant believe you have both of those together without one or both suffering..
frogs dont need friends.. they do better by themselves. bo competition for food or space makes for a healthy happy frog

Pacmans are also a bad choice to stick with anything other than itself. they eat ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!
care for the one you have, and dont get any more unless you can get a separate enclosure for it.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I decided to get a grey Pacman frog I have been wanting from the petstore. I've also decided to keep my White's tree frog solitary.
I really hope that your wtf is well fed, or that red eye may wind up as lunch or dinner
. I find that amazing that you actually attempted to mix such diferent species with diferent environmental needs and have not had any problems!
I would advise not putting a horned frog into a wtf enclosure because the care needs are not similar. Also if the wtf is small and the horned is large and lets say your whites decides to come down at night to feed and happens to get to close to the HF...If the Hf is hungry, he'll surely attempt to eat the wtf. Horned Frogs, by nature, consume alot of other frogs, including their own species.
note anything bigger than the wtfs mouth is not compatible.
don't do it.

Practically any treefrog that is about the same size will be compatible. Treefrogs usually do not eat other frogs, except when they make a mistake thinking that the thing that is moving in front of them is an insect. Don't mix most frogs with firebelly toads because these can release toxins into the water and poison other frogs.
I would not mix tree frogs unless they are of the same size in a large enclosure and from the same area as they are originally from in the wild. (ex. WTF are from Australia, RETF are from the Amazon....NOT a good mix) I currently have two terrariums for my Leptopelis (African species) and Tigerleg Monkey Frogs (South American species)..and they are STAYING that way.
