Leaf tails and red eye tree frogs.

xAmorex May 16, 2008 01:51 PM

Hello, I am wondering if I could keep red eye tree frogs in a vivarium with leaf tailed geckos? I know they arent from the same regions but they have the same temps and humidity.

Not only are they from different regions but the redeyes have a toxin on their skin and it certainly would not be healthy for the leaftail to be climbing around where the frog was.

Be better to just create two different enclosures and keep both species in their own envirorment.

I have not heard that the redeyes have a toxin. Do you have any links with some more info about this?
