It looks like a male to me.
Since you guys are both local why don't you hook up and go out in the field together? Makes sense to me. LOL
female due to the lack of a distinct brachial band. Might not show though as the animal is obviously cold. How big is it and lets see a photo of its underside of the upper rear legs-femoral pores????
I'm with Tom...female. The head is narrow, where a male would be starting to show a wider head with more muscle at the jaws. Also, I think the tail would be wider at the base if the lack of bands on the tail is indicitave of a "certain age". The eyes look female to me. I know, that's a little peculiar to say, but just thought I'd throw in my two cents!
next time i see it and get some time to photograph it I will get a picture of the under-side back legs.
