frillwill Apr 27, 2009 05:30 PM

The other day my wife had our baby bearded dragon out, it bit her. At that moment my frill went crazy, hissing rubbing into the glass w/ frill open. The baby is in a 20 gallon that my frill can see. Ever since then I have noticed my frill hisses when the baby is fed. Is he really just taking up for my wife or could he of just noticed the guy. I know he is not scared as his svl is twice that of the baby.

well idk if the baby bearded dragon was in site from the frill or not, or if reptiles can make sounds lower then the human ear can hear. but its posible that when the baby bit, that the frill caught the vibe/tention (just like dogs pick up emotion)

just a hunch....
