Ideas for a new lizard...

bakeaway Aug 15, 2009 01:57 PM

I am a snake keeper and have 12 snakes,,,and have had a couple lizards through the years..a bearded dragon and an iguana. Well, now I want to get another lizard, and was wanting one that is not too fast moving and tame easily. And if it does not need UV light then that would be great. Any ideas?
Skinks would be cool also.
Thanks

Well your wish list is somewhat wishful thinking, hehehehhee, I know a lizard that tames really easy and is beautiful/ nice pet, thats a collared lizard... BUT they do need the uvb if keep indoors, it's a must.

And skinks are awesome, I have a Merake BTS (some are skiddish.)

Crested and gargoyle geckos get somewhat tamish when handled, and do not need uvb. Let us know what you decide

I would definitly recomend crested geckos, they are very tame don't bite, interesting at the same time. You should have a look at them next time you are at a pet store.
