Water Safe for Tree Frogs?

asphyxia Jun 22, 2010 10:45 AM

Is bottled water (like Deer Park)safe to use in tree frogs water bowl? Also, I never see my new tree frogs soaking in their water. I don't think they even do at night because in the morning when I change the water, it looks the same as it did (not much dirt, etc). Why wouldn't they be doing this?

Bottled water is fine to use but not distilled (it usually comes in jugs so don't worry unless you plan on using water from a jug). What kind of tree frogs are they? If they're nocturnal, they probably are using the water bowl. My WTFs don't always use their bowl every night and I usually don't know if they've been in there or not unless I happen to see them late in the evening.
