Why I say, you attack is, you do not consider anything said, and use random questions that do not relate to the subject or the train of thought that will allow you to learn about the subject. You jump back and forth in some random line of questioning base on what you do not understand.

But I got rid of the adults last year. They originated from Eastern Kansas. Mean as hell too.

The rat snakes in Southern Mississippi would be Texas Rat/Gray Rat looking snakes. You might be thinking of Missouri, which also has black rats with red between the scales.

I had one from Ft Smith, AR. I think it's the Texas Rat influence.

Here is one that Dell Despain caught in Elk county Kansas. Unfortunately I didn't get a close up of all the red and yellows on its sides.

I have seen black rats with lots of red between the scales from Northern Louisiana, Missouri, and Kansas.

Southern Mississippi has gray/Texas rat type things. Here is a photo of a rat snake from Amite County, Mississippi. Not all the ones in this area are as unattractive as this snake. We found a DOR with a bright yellow background.
