Sucker Fish And Musk Turtles

arolf May 07, 2005 04:35 PM

you all know of those sucker fish thatclean the tank right?
is it ok to keep one of those in my tank with my musk turtles?
i have a 75 gal tank with 6 musks in it. the largent is a bit of a bully though and pushes the others around. my concern is if he will kill the sucker fish. so should i get one or not?

My guess is that the sucker fish would last about 5 minutes in a tank with a bunch of musk turtles.
Then again, if it survives the first day or two, then the musk turtles might just ignore it. I have some feeder fish that made it through the first week with my mud turtles and now they are reproducing in the tank while the muddies pay no attention to them.
