Thanks Cindy and Buzzard! Sorry for the late reply christmas kept work busy along with myself. I have done some reading up as well so i familiarized myself a little more with the carpets. I have noticed over the first week it spent 100% of its time perched up away from everything even on the cold side of the enclosure thats around 82-84 pending on time of day (day/night). I guess now that shes's familiar, we have had time to handle her and offer her food she is more comfortable with everything. A VERY docile huge snake, she had eaten for us once out of the two time's, devouring two large rats (on the small side). I have also found out her prior owner was feeding her 2 jumbo rats a month. I thought id share that in case that's not enough? which would result in my opinionated slimmer size. i thought about keeping her on a 12-14 day schedule of 2 large rats, since "jumbo" is rather scarce for me to get in my location, and i could also try and put a little weight back on her like i think she needs?. Anyway since buzzard compared her body size to a burm, which it is not to be compared size wise to i decided in to post up new pics of her along with my burm so that they can be compared. The burm is nearly 8.5 -9ft and the carpet although i havent had a chance to measure her end to end stretched out, is obviously longer in person so im not sure if that can be seen through pics. She's very long, my biggest snake to date. I take it females normally dont get over 9ft? Just an FYI there might be a possibility in pairing these two in the future
