Oh Amanda! I'm so sorry you have had to go through such a terrible experience. I agree with Bob, that this total over-reaction, on the mom's part, is probably rooted in what happened with her other child. However, with nothing more than a quickly fading pink spot, and so many witnesses to that, I can't imagine how it can go any further than it has already.....which is, of course, much too far!

It does serve as a warning to the rest of us, though.........be SURE all vaccinations are up to date, and that you can find the papers to prove the fact!

You didn't say if you were previously acquainted with this woman, but I think not. If you knew more about her, you might find out there have been other situations that she over-reacted to!
