Hi all! So I found this toad in Syracuse, New York in late September. It is most likely an American toad but there are some things that are off. Some of the spots have more than 2 warts (3-4) and the belly is a bit spotted. I know Fowler's toads are very similar in appearance to American toads but I also know that New York is more north out of their range. There has been one Fowler's toad siting in New York on the New York herp atlas so I was wondering what other's thought of this guy being a Fowler's toad away from it's range? Or just a weird American toad.
