There is an established colony of boas in South Florida. If you click the pet amnesty day link you will find it. I am posting the link here as well that will take you to the page. Some people believe that the colony of boas are the Letecia species (I think I misspelled that). They have been there for years. People refer to them as the Deering Estate Boas.
