They are technically venomous. Venom does not need to be injected through hollow fangs. It needs to enter the blood stream through a bite or sting.
Do you consider heloderma to be venomous? Do you still consider boomslangs to be venomous? What about a platypus? How about moles, shrews, and solenodon?
Lets look at the definition of the word venomous.

: poisonous
