I noticed one of my high yellow kings shedding a few months back as I was heading out on an errand, and made a note to grab the shed when he was done. When I returned, I found the snake had managed to crawl reverse back into his shed, and the tail end was sticking off his nose. Despite being one of the strangest most amusing things I have seen a snake do, it was very confusing. The shed was torn, so I assume he was like that for a bit. And he wasn't overly stressed, just sitting there, looking as confused as me. Another first for me, and I kind of wonder what might have prompted him to do this? Any opinions?
And does anybody else notice slight different behaviors and traits among same species morphs? All I could think when I saw this, was it would be the high yellow that crawled back into his own skin haha. I find my high yellow kings can be just a bit crazy, but have the most endearing personalities, and extreme curiosity. As all these beautiful new morphs appear, its still the good old high yellow and banana king that keep me fixated.
