It is great that he is feeding well for you. Feed the heck out of him and minimize handling for a couple months. Get him on fuzzy mice/hoppers as soon as you can. Just let him grow. Once he has attained some size he will be more confident and less fearful. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly baby snakes will grow if given lots of food.
