Another year of flea drops accomplished. But we wonder......How do they know?

////

Hi! Great to hear from you!

I have asked the same question before. Particularly for vet visits. Pookey, can somehow pick up a vibe on me.

The visits were 12 months apart prior to their becoming seniors and now are six months apart (unless there is a problem).

I casually go thru my normal morning shower and get-ready routine and when it is time to get Pookey, with no change in my routine or hint that I could tell I gave off, he's under the bed when I look for him. Every time. No other morning will he go under the bed.

I don't know how he knows it is time with months between visits. I don't get the carrier out early or anything. JUST MY NORMAL ROUTINE. It is the only morning you'll find him under the bed -- the morning he goes to the vet. Sometimes he'll go under the bed early on in my routine on vet day. I get up and get in the shower and he is already hiding. Perplexing...

Stanley was oblivious. Pookey could be under the bed and Stanley would nap away unaware of the impending vet vist doom.
