Thinking of using ceramic tile with moist sphagnum Moss packed under it for nesting spot. My concern is the weight of the tile damaging the clutch or would the female move the substrate around in such a manner as to support the weight of the tile while protecting the clutch. In the wild a log would be supported, a pile of trash have cavities, or a pile of pine straw or grass not have the weight to damage the clutch. Any input would be appreciated. [ Hide Replies ]
