1. The immunological data tree from '95 doesn't indicate there's a problem with outgroup selection. 2. The best available data do not support P.crucifer falling outside other Pseudacric species. 3. What is a heterogeneous Pseudacris? Some having toe pads and other not? Not a big deal. They share a common evolutionary history and that's what's important. 4. The '95 immunological data give no indication of the possibility of H.arborea falling within Pseudacris.
