Welcome to the Herps & Kids Forum. Most herpers start out chasing frogs and lizards in the backyard when they are kids, and then things just go downhill from there. But there are issues that every parent needs to know and needs to address before bringing reptiles and amphibians into the house with children around. Things like salmonella, cage safety, and other issues are all things you need to discuss before you bring reptiles into the house or the classroom. Here you may post messages or questions pertaining to all aspects and issues that affect Herps and Kids. If you are a new user to this forum, please take the time to review the rules first before posting.
